Join us as we celebrate
15 years of commitment to the
Jacksonville community!

IF YOU CHOOSE TO SIMPLY DONATE, JOIN AN EXISTING TEAM, OR CREATE YOUR OWN TEAM, WE THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR CAUSE IN RAISING AWARENESS TO END COLON CANCER!

Proudly presented by the title sponsor, Borland Groover!

The March To Get Screened (MTGS) 5K Race & 1 Mile Fun Run is generally held each year on the last Sunday of March. This year, due to holidays and other community events, we will be celebrating colon cancer awareness on Sunday, April 14th, 2024, located Under the Fuller Warren Bridge! This is a timed event, with mile markers at every mile. For more information about the event, click here!

Our mission at the Borland Groover Foundation is to build a healthy and equitable community that is free from colon cancer through service, education, and empowerment. We are committed to continue contributing to the fight against this preventable, yet fatal disease. All proceeds from MTGS benefit the Borland Groover Foundation, click here to learn more.

Your support can help:

  • Raise awareness for colorectal cancer.
  • Provide financial aid to cancer patients undergoing treatment.
  • Distribute educational materials to medical facilities, schools, and churches.
  • Provide screening colonoscopy vouchers to the community:
    • Borland Groover provides free colonoscopies for less fortunate patients.
    • Foundation Funds are forbidden to be used by Borland Groover.

*Due to holidays, spring breaks, and other community events taking place in Jacksonville, we have chosen to schedule our event for April this year. Your understanding is greatly appreciated!
